April 11, 2008 – Compared to Paris Hilton – who made headlines with her private porn video “ 1 night in Paris ” – „The O.C.“ star Mischa Barton doesn’t have to go to jail because of her drunk drunk driving. Barton has agreed upon a deal that sets her on probation for period of three years and that she has to go for three months of alcohol counseling. Also her driving without a valid licence is reduced to a pure traffic offence. In addition she has to pay a small penalty.
The accusation of possession of marihuana was dropped at the same time because there was only a very small quantity of the drug found during the police control.
Misch Barton became famous with her embodiment of „Marissa Cooper“ in the successful series „The OC“ and currently works on several film projects. She was spotted repeatedly drinking and partying to much.
Also other female stars have showed their bad behaviour in public: While Scandal-queen Lindsay Lohan repeatedly has been alcoholized (and is said to have filmed her own porn movie too), Britney Spears has only driven without a valid driver’s licence and damaged a parking car.
