The star-couple could be in Austria on 2008-31-01

David Beckham and wife Victoria "Posh Spice" will come to Vienna, Austria to be guest at the famous Opera Ball. But they will not be invited by Austrian entrepreneur Richard "Mortar" Lugner who is going to take his new girlfriend Bettina to the number 1 society-event together with a famous person. During the last years he brought celebrites like Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra or Grace Jones to Vienna. This year's speculation about the Beckhams as Lugners Opera Ball guests now comes to an end. Traditionally he presents his guests a few weeks before the Ball which takes place on January 31th 2008. Posh Spice has been the favourite of Lugners daugher and now new speculations will appear: Who will come to Vienna? Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Eva Longoria, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Heidi Klum with Seal?

Richard Lugner is probably Austria's most famous person. During decades he was known as the country's most successful building entrepreneur and owner of the "Lugner City" - a shopping center in the heart of Vienna. He came to fame with his private life, which has been in public due to a reality-soap in the style of "The Osbornes" or "Gene Simmons - Family Jewels" on the TV-station ATV. In 2007 the 74 year old Lugner divorced from his wife and went looking for a new girlfriend which he found in the 34 year old Bettina. He even started a run for presidency in Austria 1998.
