Ausfallsicherung für alle EMC Speicherplattformen

 

WIEN – 12. Oktober 2009 - EMC baut Funktionen für Business Continuity und Disaster Recovery in virtuellen Infrastrukturen aus. So erweitert EMC seine Unterstützung für VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager 4.0 und ermöglicht ab sofort eine umfassende Ausfallsicherung über alle EMC Netzwerkspeicherplattformen hinweg. Außerdem bringt EMC neue Adapter für Speicherreplikation in VMware-Umgebungen auf den Markt. Die Speicheradapter für EMC Symmetrix Remote Data Facility, EMC Celerra Replicator mit NFS- und iSCSI-Unterstützung, EMC MirrorView und EMC RecoverPoint sind für VMware-Kunden mit einer VMware Site Recovery Manager Lizenz frei erhältlich.

 

Desweiteren bietet EMC:

·           Einfaches Auto-Setup für SRFD via EMC Storage Viewer

·           Statusübersicht über Recovery-Vorgänge in Echtzeit und automatischen Failback für CLARiiON mit MirrorView Insight

·           Automatischen Failback für Celerra mit vCenter Plug-In

·           Synchrone und asynchrone Replikation und vCenter Plug-In mit VMware aware RecoverPoint
