Airlive, one of the most advanced worldwide brands for networking and communication equipment has just announced its new 11n portable wireless 3G router – the Airlive Traveler 3G.
Birkerød, January 22, 2010: The Airlive Traveler 3G supports the trend that more and more people choose to use the 3G technology to access Internet anywhere and anytime. Unfortunately with the limitations of the 3G modem has to be plugged into the laptop computer, so no one else can share the bandwidth.
The Airlive Traveler 3G is a slim size, light weight portable 3G router with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery. The Airlive Traveler 3G gives the user the possibility easy to carry and share Internet bandwidth to clients via a Ethernet cable or a 802.11b/g/n wireless connection – just by plugging in a 3G USB cellular modem into the Airlive Traveler 3G.
AirLive has also invented the router function to work as a standard home router that is compatible with broadband access, so when the data stream drops from the wired connection, the 3G will work as backup.
The Airlive Traveler 3G comes with functionality like traditional access points – WPS, 802.1x Authentication, WEP, QoS, Port Forwarding, VPN Pass Through (IPSec/PPTP) and firewall are just some of the features in the Airlive Traveler 3G.
The Traveler 3G supports most of the 3G USB cellular modems today.
“With the Airlive Traveler 3G we have a product that makes Internet access easier, more convenient and still secure – everything under the Airlive brand” said Beesha Lin Sales and Marketing Director at Airlive. “We strive to develop innovative technologies that address the growing consumer needs. Having Internet accesses anywhere and anytime has become a must for road warriors and we make it easier for them to bridge the gap between their on-the-go, home and work lives.”
The Traveler 3G is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows7 operating systems. The Traveler 3G will be available in countries in Europe supported by EET Nordic from January 2010.
