The internationally successful medical technology manufacturer presented its new XXL and XXXL cuffs at this year’s medica using an elephant. “Our cuff-elephant is a highly appealing figure. It conveys the range of our portfolio very well: we not only supply cuffs for the little guys but also for the big guys,” said Klaus Eilts, Marketing Manager. With a cuff length of 1.40 m ulrich has developed a model for its customers that is so far unique in the medical market.
The “Jumbo Cuffs”, as they are already known in customer circles, are impressive not just because of their size. Another unique feature of the cuffs is that they can be disinfected and steam sterilized. The product – with three separately available components – can still be reused even after 50 preparation cycles. The cuff is made of stretch fabric sewn under tension. This prevents skin fold formation and any irritation associated with this.
ulrich medical cuffs can be adapted to all standard automatic tourniquet devices. Users can choose between the version with hook and loop fastening or one with a clasp. Both types have color coding of the different sizes.
