INDO-GERMAN WATER is a network, dedicated to the domains of
water supply and wastewater systems, as well as to environmental technologies. The network covers a deep and broad portfolio of experience, ranging from research activities to highly application-oriented solutions and their
implementation. The network currently takes part in the cooperation program “India and Germany – Strategic Partners for Innovation”, supported by the German
Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Consequently, the network is an official participant in “Research in Germany – Land of Ideas”.
As part of the activities of the cooperation program, several events are being organized in India by INDO-GERMAN WATER network. This includes workshops in Bangalore and Chennai, as well as the workshops in Mumbai and Delhi, scheduled in November 2009. Also in this occasion, issues concerning water supply and wastewater management will be discussed with regard to project development. This event will bring together the German partners with Indian companies, research institutions, facility operators and public authorities.
The Mumbai workshop will take place from November 19th to November 20th.
The workshop in Delhi is scheduled from November 23rd to November 25th.
